- 11. A Verified Document Where the Borrower Claims It Has Been Repaid and the Lender Says He Does Not Know, 1 Seif: If a lender produces a verified loan document and the borrower claims he paid it back and the lender says he is unsure, the lender cannot collect with it. If the lender later says 'I investigated my records and I now remember with certainty that the document is unpaid', he may collect with it.

מלוה שהוציא שטר חוב מקוי' וטוען הלוה שהוא פרוע והמלו' אומר איני יודע אינו גובה בו ואם חזר ואמר עיינתי בחשבוני וזכור אני בברי שאינו פרוע חוזר וגובה בו:
