A garment worn normally is not a burden and is permitted. Jewelry a woman might remove to show friends was rabbinically forbidden (Shabbat נ״ז ע״ב (57b)). Glasses for sight are like clothing; a plain key is a burden unless fashioned as an accepted ornament.
