Verse 1
שלמים — שמטילים שלום בעולם דבר אחר שלמים שיש בהם שלום למזבח ולכהנים ולבעלים:
Verse 3
ואת כל החלב וגו' — להביא חלב שעל הקבה, דברי רבי ישמעאל רבי עקיבא אומר להביא חלב שעל הדקין:
Verse 4
הכסלים — פלנק"ש בלע"ז שהחלב שעל הכליות, כשהבהמה חיה, הוא בגובה הכסלים והם מלמטה, וזהו החלב שתחת המתנים, שקורין בלע"ז לונביל"ש, לובן הנראה למעלה בגובה הכסלים, ובתחתיתו הבשר חופהו:
היתרת — הוא דופן המסך, שקורין איברי"ש ובלשון ארמי חצרא דכבדא:
על הכבד — שיטול מן הכבד עמה מעט ובמקום אחר הוא אומר (ויק' ט י) ואת היותרת מן הכבד:
על הכבד על הכליות — לבד מן הכבד ולבד מן הכליות יסירנה לזו:
Verse 5
על העלה — מלבד העולה למדנו שתקדים עולת תמיד לכל קרבן על המערכה:
Verse 7
אם כשב — לפי שיש באימורי הכשב מה שאין באימורי העז, שהכשב אליתו קרבה, לכך נחלקו לשתי פרשיות:
Verse 8
וזרקו — שתי מתנות שהן ארבע, ועל ידי הכלי הוא זורק, ואינו נותן באצבע אלא חטאת:
Verse 9
חלבו — המבחר שבו ומהו זה, האליה תמימה:
לעמת העצה — למעלה מן הכליות היועצות:
Verse 11
לחם אשה לה' — לחמו של אש לשם גבוה:
לחם — לשון מאכל, וכן (ירמיהו יא יט) נשחיתה עץ בלחמו, (דניאל ה א) עבד לחם רב, (קהלת י יט) לשחוק עשים לחם:

Verse 1

וְאִם־זֶ֥בַח שְׁלָמִ֖ים קׇרְבָּנ֑וֹ אִ֤ם מִן־הַבָּקָר֙ ה֣וּא מַקְרִ֔יב אִם־זָכָר֙ אִם־נְקֵבָ֔ה תָּמִ֥ים יַקְרִיבֶ֖נּוּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃

If your offering is a sacrifice of well-being uncertain. — If you offer of the herd, whether a male or a female, you shall bring before G OD one without blemish.

Verse 2

וְסָמַ֤ךְ יָדוֹ֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ קׇרְבָּנ֔וֹ וּשְׁחָט֕וֹ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְזָרְק֡וּ בְּנֵי֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים אֶת־הַדָּ֛ם עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃

You shall lay a hand upon the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall dash the blood against all sides of the altar.

Verse 3

וְהִקְרִיב֙ מִזֶּ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִ֔ים אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהֹוָ֑ה אֶת־הַחֵ֙לֶב֙ הַֽמְכַסֶּ֣ה אֶת־הַקֶּ֔רֶב וְאֵת֙ כׇּל־הַחֵ֔לֶב אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַקֶּֽרֶב׃

Then present from the sacrifice of well-being, as an offering by fire to G OD , the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is about the entrails;

Verse 4

וְאֵת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י הַכְּלָיֹ֔ת וְאֶת־הַחֵ֙לֶב֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲלֵהֶ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַכְּסָלִ֑ים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶ֙רֶת֙ עַל־הַכָּבֵ֔ד עַל־הַכְּלָי֖וֹת יְסִירֶֽנָּה׃

the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is at the loins; and the protuberance on the liver, which you shall remove with the kidneys.

Verse 5

וְהִקְטִ֨ירוּ אֹת֤וֹ בְנֵֽי־אַהֲרֹן֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה עַל־הָ֣עֹלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־הָעֵצִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הָאֵ֑שׁ אִשֵּׁ֛ה רֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַֽיהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}

Aaron’s sons shall turn these into smoke on the altar, with the burnt offering that is upon the wood that is on the fire, as an offering by fire, of pleasing odor to G OD .

Verse 6

וְאִם־מִן־הַצֹּ֧אן קׇרְבָּנ֛וֹ לְזֶ֥בַח שְׁלָמִ֖ים לַיהֹוָ֑ה זָכָר֙ א֣וֹ נְקֵבָ֔ה תָּמִ֖ים יַקְרִיבֶֽנּוּ׃

And if your offering for a sacrifice of well-being to G OD is from the flock, whether a male or a female, you shall offer one without blemish.

Verse 7

אִם־כֶּ֥שֶׂב הֽוּא־מַקְרִ֖יב אֶת־קׇרְבָּנ֑וֹ וְהִקְרִ֥יב אֹת֖וֹ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃

If you present a sheep as your offering, you shall bring it before G OD

Verse 8

וְסָמַ֤ךְ אֶת־יָדוֹ֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ קׇרְבָּנ֔וֹ וְשָׁחַ֣ט אֹת֔וֹ לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְ֠זָרְק֠וּ בְּנֵ֨י אַהֲרֹ֧ן אֶת־דָּמ֛וֹ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃

and lay a hand upon the head of your offering. It shall be slaughtered before the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron’s sons shall dash its blood against all sides of the altar.

Verse 9

וְהִקְרִ֨יב מִזֶּ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִים֮ אִשֶּׁ֣ה לַיהֹוָה֒ חֶלְבּוֹ֙ הָאַלְיָ֣ה תְמִימָ֔ה לְעֻמַּ֥ת הֶעָצֶ֖ה יְסִירֶ֑נָּה וְאֶת־הַחֵ֙לֶב֙ הַֽמְכַסֶּ֣ה אֶת־הַקֶּ֔רֶב וְאֵת֙ כׇּל־הַחֵ֔לֶב אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַקֶּֽרֶב׃

Then present, as an offering by fire to G OD , the fat from the sacrifice of well-being: the whole broad tail, which you shall remove close to the backbone; the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is about the entrails;

Verse 10

וְאֵת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י הַכְּלָיֹ֔ת וְאֶת־הַחֵ֙לֶב֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲלֵהֶ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַכְּסָלִ֑ים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶ֙רֶת֙ עַל־הַכָּבֵ֔ד עַל־הַכְּלָיֹ֖ת יְסִירֶֽנָּה׃

Verse 11

Verse 12

וְאִ֥ם עֵ֖ז קׇרְבָּנ֑וֹ וְהִקְרִיב֖וֹ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃

And if your offering is a goat, you shall bring it before G OD

Verse 13

The priest shall turn these into smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire, of pleasing odor. All fat is G OD ’s.

Verse 17

חֻקַּ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם בְּכֹ֖ל מוֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם כׇּל־חֵ֥לֶב וְכׇל־דָּ֖ם לֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽלוּ׃ {פ}

It is a law for all time throughout the ages, in all your settlements: you must not eat any fat or any blood.
