- 1The order of prayers on the second day of Sukkot, 3 Seifim: On the second day, we bless "...on the taking of the lulav"; the same for the other days.
- 2Shehecheyanu is not said on the second day over the lulav unless the first day was Shabbat.
- 3We take out two [Torah] scrolls and read the same sections that were read the previous day. The haftarah is from Kings, "They gathered" [Kings I 8:2] until "when I took them out of Egypt" [Kings I 8:21].
