Translation: Sefaria Community Translation. Section numbers match the Hebrew text above.

    1. 1One Should not Move Things From Yard to Yard on Chol Hamoed, 3 Seifim: One may not remove his things from yard to yard, even from a bad one to a nice one. One may not remove his things from his dwelling or move things that are not being moved for a holiday need. Rema: How much more so is it prohibited to move one's money from city to city (Mordechai chapter "Mi sheHafach"). However, one can remove things from house to house within one yard. If the houses open to an alley and not to a yard, there are some who say that he may move things between adjacent houses. Rema: If he fears for theft in the yard in which he lives, he can move even from his yard to a protected yard. Even moving things from city to city is permitted when there is potential loss (Hagahot Ashri and Mordechai).
    2. 2There are some who permit him to move from another's yard to his yard, even from a nice yard to a bad one.
    3. 3It is forbidden to remove manure in the yard. Rather, it should be moved to the sides. If there is so much of it that the yard has become like a stable, it can be removed to the dunghill.
