    Rosh Hashanah 16a

God said: say before Me on Rosh Hashanah kingship, remembrance and shofar verses.

God said: say before Me on Rosh Hashanah kingship, remembrance and shofar verses. Kingship - so that you crown Me over you; remembrance - so that your memory rises before Me for good; and with what - with the shofar. Three parts, each with a role.
