Verse 3
ובגבורתך תדינני — תנקום נקמתי כמו כי ידין ה' עמו (דברים ל"ב):
Verse 7
לשוררי — לעויני לשון אשורנו ולא קרוב (במדבר כ״ד:י״ז):
באמתך — מתוך שאתה אמיתי ואמרת ליפרע מהולכי רכיל ורודפי הרג לכך הצמיתם:

Malbim's commentary
Verse 3
אלהים בשמך הושיעני, תושיע לי מצד שמך שאתה מושיע חוסים, ותדין דיני מיד אויבי מצד גבורתך, התשועה מצד החסד, והדין מצד הגבורה:
Verse 4
אלהים שמע תפלתי, וגם האזינה ליתר הדברים שאומר עם התפלה:
Verse 5
כי זרים קמו עלי, הם הזיפים שהם זרים ואינם קרובי שאול, ועדת עריצים הם שאול וגבוריו, שהם בקשו נפשי להרגני, לא בדין רק מצד שהם עריצים, ולא שמו אלהים לנגדם, לא שמו על לב שאלהים הוא מתנגד להם בדבר הזה שהוא נגד רצון אלהים, סלה סיום הענין:
Verse 6
הנה אלהים עזר לי בעצמי, וגם ה' בסומכי נפשי שהם אנשי דוד וסומכיו ועוזריו, וגם ה' יצטרף להיות ג"כ עמהם לסמכני:
Verse 7
ישוב, גם ישלם לאויבי, א — כדי שישיב הרע לשררי לשלם להם כרעתם, ב. באמתך הצמיתם מצד אמתת הבטחתך שהבטחת לי את המלוכה:
Verse 8
(ח-ט) בנדבה, ואזבחה לך בנדבת לב ואודה שמך ה' כי טוב, במה שאז כאשר עטרו שאול ואנשיו על דוד ואנשיו לתפשם בא מלאך אל שאול ואמר לו כי פשטו פלשתים על הארץ, וישב שאול מרדוף אחרי דוד, ועי"כ מכל צרה הצילני, ובאיבי ראתה עיני הגם שראיתי באויבי לא הוצרכתי ללחום עמהם ולשפוך דם, רק הצלתני גם מזה, וזה היה אצלו עקר הנס שלא ניצול ע"י מלחמה ושפיכת דם:

לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ בִּנְגִינֹ֗ת מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃
For the leader; with instrumental music. A maskil of David,
בְּבֹ֣א הַ֭זִּיפִים וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לְשָׁא֑וּל הֲלֹ֥א דָ֝וִ֗ד מִסְתַּתֵּ֥ר עִמָּֽנוּ׃
when the Ziphites came and told Saul, “Know, David is in hiding among us.”
אֱ֭לֹהִים בְּשִׁמְךָ֣ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ֥ תְדִינֵֽנִי׃
O God, deliver me by Your name; by Your power vindicate me.
אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁמַ֣ע תְּפִלָּתִ֑י הַ֝אֲזִ֗ינָה לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽי׃
O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
כִּ֤י זָרִ֨ים׀ קָ֤מוּ עָלַ֗י וְֽ֭עָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י לֹ֤א שָׂ֨מוּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לְנֶגְדָּ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
For strangers have risen against me, and those who are ruthless seek my life; they are unmindful of God. Selah.
הִנֵּ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים עֹזֵ֣ר לִ֑י אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י בְּֽסֹמְכֵ֥י נַפְשִֽׁי׃
See, God is my helper; my Sovereign is my support.
(ישוב) [יָשִׁ֣יב] הָ֭רַע לְשֹׁרְרָ֑י בַּ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗ הַצְמִיתֵֽם׃
[God] will repay the evil of my watchful foes; by Your faithfulness, destroy them!
בִּנְדָבָ֥ה אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּ֑ךְ א֤וֹדֶה־שִּׁמְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֣ה כִּי־טֽוֹב׃
Then I will offer You a freewill sacrifice; I will praise Your name, E TERNAL One, for it is good,
כִּ֣י מִכׇּל־צָ֭רָה הִצִּילָ֑נִי וּ֝בְאֹיְבַ֗י רָאֲתָ֥ה עֵינִֽי׃ {פ}
for it has saved me from my foes, and let me gaze triumphant upon my enemies.
