<b>שלא לכתוב אותה על גליון ספר תורה. ובו סעיף אחד:</b><br>ספר תורה או תפילין שבלו אין עושין מהם מזוזה ואין כותבין אותה על גליוני ספר תורה לפי שאין מורידין מקדושה חמורה לקדושה קלה: הגה אבל מותר לתקן הס"ת עצמה עם גליונותיה אם אי אפשר לתקנה בענין אחר והיה צריך לגונזה בלאו הכי (מהר"מ פדואה סי' פ"ד) אבל אם אפשר לתקנה בענין אחר אע"פ שהספר תורה מגוילין ורוצה לדבק עליה קלפים לא יחתוך הגליונות לתקנה דאין אסור לתקנה מבחוץ בקלף אע"פ שהס"ת מגוילין (ג"ז שם):
To not write [a mezuzah] on the parchment from a sefer torah. A sefer torah or tefilin that got wore out, must not be made into a mezuzah. And not to write it on the parchment [prepared for the intent] of a sefer torah, since we do not descend from higher sanctity to a lower sanctity.
