<b>דין ק"ש על מטתו. ובו ב סעיפים:</b><br>קורא על מטתו פרשה ראשונה של שמע ומברך המפיל חבלי שינה על עיני וכו': הגה ויקרא ק"ש סמוך למטתו ואין אוכלים ושותים ולא מדברים אחר קריאת שמע על מטתו אלא ישן מיד שנאמר אמרו בלבבכם על משכבכם ודומו סלה (כל בו רוקח ורבינו ירוחם נ"ב ח"ב) ועיין לעיל סי' ס"ג אי מותר לקרות כשהוא שוכב ואם קרא קריאת שמע ולא יוכל לישן מיד אז חוזר וקורא כמה פעמים זה אחר זה עד שישתקע בשינה ושיהיה קריאתו סמוך לשינתו (הגהות מיי' פ"ז) ואין מברכין על ק"ש של ערבית (הגהות מיי' פ"ז וב"י בשם תוס' פ' כל הבשר) ואומר יושב בסתר עליון ואומר ה' מה רבו צרי עד לה' הישועה ואומר ברוך ה' ביום ברוך ה' בלילה ברוך ה' בשכבנו ברוך ה' בקומנו ויאמר ה' אל השטן יגער ה' בך השטן וכו' ה' שומרך וכו' מעתה ועד עולם בידך אפקיד רוחי וכו' יברכך ה' וכו' עד וישם לך שלום ואומ' השכיבנו עד סמוך לחתימה:
La lecture de la première parasha du Shema sur son lit : il doit lire la première parasha du Shema et bénir "Hapil" (qui fait tomber les chaînes du sommeil sur ses yeux, etc.). Il doit lire le Shema immédiatement avant de se coucher, et il est interdit de manger, boire ou parler après avoir lu le Shema avant de s'endormir. Cela est basé sur le verset "Dites en vous-mêmes sur votre couche, et taisez-vous, selah" (Psaumes 4:5), comme expliqué dans le Kol Bo, le Rokeach et le Rabbeinu Yerucham. Et on se réfère également à la section précédente du chapitre 63 concernant la permission de lire le Shema en étant allongé. Si une personne lit le Shema mais ne peut pas immédiatement s'endormir, elle doit recommencer à lire le Shema plusieurs fois de suite jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'endorme, l'idée étant que la lecture du Shema doit être proche du moment de l'endormissement. Il n'y a pas de bénédiction sur la lecture du Shema du soir (comme précisé par les Hagahot Maimonides et le Beit Yosef citant les Tosafot sur le traité Kol HaBassar). En plus de cela, l'individu peut réciter les prières suivantes : "Celui qui habite dans le secret du Très-Haut" (Psaumes 91:1), "Que mes ennemis soient nombreux", "Béni soit Hachem, le jour", "Béni soit Hachem, la nuit", "Béni soit Hachem, lorsque nous nous couchons" et "Béni soit Hachem, lorsque nous nous levons", et "Que Hachem réprimande le Satan". Il termine par "Hachem, protège-moi", "Je remets mon âme entre Tes mains", "Hachem, bénis-moi", jusqu'à "Qu'Il mette la paix en toi", et il termine avec la prière "Hachkivenu" jusqu’à la fin de la prière du coucher.
כשיפשוט חלוקו לא יהפכנו ממטה למעלה שאם כן נמצא גופו ערום אלא יפשטנו דרך ראשו ויכסה עצמו בסדינו מתחת ויכנס במטתו:
Lorsqu'il enlève sa chemise, il ne doit pas la retourner de bas en haut, car dans ce cas, son corps serait exposé. Il doit plutôt l'enlever par la tête, et se couvrir avec son drap en dessous avant d'entrer dans son lit.
