<b>צריך שימסור הגט בפני שני עדים כשרים. ובו ג סעיפים:</b><br>צריך שיהיו שני עדים כשרים בשעת מסירת הגט (ושימסור לה הגט בפני שניהם ביחד) (ב"י) וכן צריך להחתים עליו עדים לכתחלה אבל בדיעבד אם לא היו אלא עידי חתימה ומסרו בינו לבינה כשר וכן אם היו עידי מסירה ולא היו בו עידי חתימה כשר וי"א שאם נודע שניתן לה בלא עידי מסירה אע"פ שעדים חתומים בו פסול ומיהו כשרואין אותו חתום תולין שבודאי נמסר בעידי מסירה: הגה וע"ל ריש סימן ק"ל דלוקחין כת אחת של עדים לחתימה ולמסירה ולא שני כיתות:
It is necessary that there are two valid witnesses at the time of the handing over of the divorce document, as it says and he should hand to her the divorce document before the two of them together (Beit Yosef) . צריך שיהיו גם החתימות יבשות בשעת נתינת הגט:
The signatures, too, need to be dry when the *get* [bill of divorce] is presented.
רגילין ליתן הגט במנין עשרה:
We normally present the *get* [bill of divorce] in the presence of a quorum of ten.
